Chemistry Laboratory

Chemistry sometimes is called the “central science” because it connects other sciences to each others, such as biology, physics, geology and environmental science. Chemistry is a physical science, and it is the study of the properties of and interactions between matter and energy. In other words, chemistry is a way to study the properties, characteristics, and physical and chemical changes of matter.
Chemical reactions takes place in plants and animals, this result in the formation of substances in some plants and animals that can be used to treat illness. Chemistry is important to everyday life, because it provides medicine.

The curiousity of pupils in the physical world was ignited through experiments conducted on chemical reactions on substances and identification of gases. The application of chemicals in daily life such as reducing of hardness of water and purification of potable water, made the teaching of Chemistry relevant and interesting.
