The Library at UIS
The most important facility a school must have is a Library. At United International we have a library with an extensive collection of books. There are two libraries, One for pre-primary and one for the Middle and Secondary sections.
There are total number of 4,867 books available for the students to read.
Junior – 2,251
Middle – 1061
Senior – 1555
Classifications of the books at the United International School Library.
The library can accommodate upto 48 students with plenty of room. Students from class 1 to 10 have access to the library at all times .
The students of class 5 and above are allowed to take the books with them and are given a 1 week reading time for each book.
Children have access to 1 Kannada and 2 English newspapers that is available at the library.
They also have access to 7 Monthly magazines which they can read to increase their general knowledge every month.
